KG2MS arrives safely at CYCA in Sydney

Kiss Goodbye to MS arrives safely in Sydney yesterday morning after an uneventful trip from its base at Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron.

We have been watching their progress as they more along the south east coast of Victoria past Eden at a tremendous rate of over 10 knots through to the safe haven of Sydney harbour. The crew dined on a feast of excellent food including Beef Stroganoff supplied by our caterer Beacon Cove Restaurant as they headed up the coast.

The Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia (MSRA) staff have been keenly watching the website/tracker to keep up to date on progress of Kiss Goodbye to MS on this trip to the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia in Sydney (it’s base now until the race start).

Dr Ian Law safely in Sydney Harbour on Kiss Goodbye to MS

A big hello from all of us at Beyond Outrageous Yacht Racing to all the staff at MSRA, we are very much looking forward to taking you out on Sydney Harbour before we embark on this great challenge.

During the delivery we have continued our fundraising and are now over the $10,000.00 mark. Well on the way to the $50,000.00 goal of combined effort.

This is an exciting time for us and thank all of you who are watching…

Following you here in the US. I have MS and also love to sail; and still do. I think what you are doing is awesome. Good luck. I hope the Sea the Wind behave.

Great that you’ve made it safely to Sydney…..not too many days to go now! Love your website – and especially having a look at the photos of our little sail that evening off St Kilda…..anyway, hoping that you have a really good few days now double and triple checking everything. And soon you’ll be Kissing Goodbye to Sydney (as well as MS!). Very proud of what you guys are doing…..happy sailing! Simon McKeon
